Celebrate Good Times, Day at a Time, Recipe for Delicious

I’m on a role.

Well, I’m on a role with this great nutritional program I’ve been doing for the last 20-some days. It’s the first thing I’ve tried that works.

So far I’ve been able to work out 6 out 7 days during the week and I have SO much energy. It’s crazy!

I have lost 7 pounds so far and I can’t wait to keep on keepin on! This is such a great program, I just couldn’t hold it in a longer!

If you’re interested in getting healthy, losing weight, having more energy and feeling overall amazing, comment below! I’d love to tell you what I’m doing!

Goals are so important and being healthy was and is one of my most important goals. It just makes me feel so good!

Okay, that’s my advertisement for the week, but seriously- I just feel so great, I wanted to share with my viewers! Oh and the picture, totally weirded me out too, but it worked!

Day at a Time

Be Kind. Rewind.

So, I saw this quote. I saw it, and it really expresses what I want in this blog. It really describes me.

I liked to be silly. I get that from my mom. She is downright hilarious. You know the type. She whispers something totally inappropriate in your ear during church and you just can’t hold it in any longer and you bust out laughing in the middle of announcements and then everyone looks at you like you’re crazy. Yeah, that’s my mother.

It is really important to me to be an honest person. Honest in the way I speak, work and in my actions. It’s a very Christian thing to be. I think friends, family and coworkers respect you more when you are honest. Honesty is a great way of life.

Being kind is huge. Being kind will get you far in life. Celebrating someone’s small victories with a card, making cupcakes for a friend or even just telling someone how beautiful they are today. You know, random acts of kindness, are always nice.

So, those are my words for the day. Happy weekend, friends.

Dinner by my Lonesome

Let’s just say, between my awesome husband and Sweet Ginger, my night was made.

Sushi, you are so goooood!

Day at a Time

My Honey Bunches of Oats

This man is wonderful. He’s the perfect husband. It’s true.

When I walked through the door tonight, I noticed right away “someone” had straightened up. Everything on the desk was neatly stacked and the shoes were put away.

It’s things like these that make make me love my husband. He knows that before we go on vacation, I always like the house tidied up. When we come home from a long vacation, I love walking through the door to our home, home sweet home.

He’s knows me so well and is always there for me. He encourages and helps me so much. I am so thankful he’s in my life. I wouldn’t want to be with anyone else.

I love you, baby.

One last day at work before we leave. Tomorrow we work and pack. Saturday night we leave. We get to take a nice, six day vacation to New Jersey.

We will stay with my wonderful Aunt and Uncle and my Dad will meet us there. We will also get to visit my sweet grandfather, Pop. We are bringing him a special little gift. Dr. Suess’s Hop on Pop. He’s going to love it.

Well, updates on packing later. Because that’s a whole other story.

Celebrate Good Times

Two oh oh oh!

It’s true. You’ve done it! You’ve gotten my little blog to 2,000 views. They came from France, Mexico, Sweden and all over the United States. I am so excited. So be on the look out- when I get back from NYC, there will be a special little giveaway.

Thank you all who have been reading daily or weekly. I appreciate it so much. Have a wonderful night, friends.

Sweet dreams.

Day at a Time

Happy Things

You know, some things just make you happy. One of the things that make me happy is designing.

Yesterday, I was so honored to be asked to do designs for a new company. It made me very happy.

Today has been a pretty HAPPY day altogether. M got good news at work, I enjoyed a talk with my office manager, and in 3 short days we will be New Jersey and New York bound!

So, what makes you happy? Was there something today that gave you that extra boost of happiness?

Day at a Time

Catch up

A busy day at the office and then a drive to Castle Rock to see my darling friend.

Oh what a time we had. Shopping, talking, chowing down amazing food. It was a blast. It made me feel like I hadn’t seen her in months, but it was only one.

Alex is such a fun-loving person. And to think, we went to the same high school, had a couple of classes together, and even moved all the way from Georgia to Colorado, and now we’re finally friends.

The way God works things out sometimes. It’s amazing.
